Terms of service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply when you claim a name on coom.im and/or use our micro hosting. By using the service you agree to them.

1. Who we are

coom.im ("we", "us") provides names under the coom.im domain, optional micro hosting (website, email, database) and DNS management. Contact: computerproblematiek@gmail.com.

2. The service

3. Your account

4. Prices and payment

5. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. You may not use it to:

We may suspend or remove a name or hosting if we reasonably believe it is being abused, or if we are legally required to.

6. Your content and IP

7. Availability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we don't currently offer an uptime guarantee (SLA). We may perform maintenance, and features may change or be added as the service is still being built.

8. Suspension and termination

9. Consumer rights (EU)

If you are a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because a claimed name and hosting start immediately at your request (and involve setting up a name for you), that right lapses once the name/hosting is activated. You keep your rights for defects: if something doesn't work as described, contact us and we'll put it right.

10. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data (please keep your own backups). Where we are liable, this is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law.

11. Indemnity

You indemnify us against third-party claims that result from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of the law (for example, unlawful content or spam).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The "last updated" date above shows the current version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are handled by the competent court there, unless mandatory consumer law gives you another option.
